    Every detail matters, and planning your wedding comes with plenty of questions. 

    We’ve gathered the most common ones below to make things simple and help you feel confident every step of the way. For anything further, our team is happy to assist.

    How large is the venue? Is there air conditioning?

    The reception takes place in our 8,000 sq ft climate-controlled glass building with HVAC, for a comfortable setting year-round.

    How many guests can Lumière Venue accommodate?

    Lumière can host up to 500 guests for both ceremonies and receptions. 

    The bridal suite can accommodate 10 guests, and the groom preparation room is accommodates 4.

    Where is the ceremony held? what if it rains?

    Most ceremonies take place at our scenic outdoor location by the pond, seating up to 500 guests.

    The glass reception building can hold both ceremonies and receptions.

    In case of rain or severe weather, the ceremony can be moved indoors or to a covered location. Your venue coordinator will assist with a rain plan.

    is parking available?

    Yes, convenient on-site parking is available for guests.

    Are there photo locations on the property?

    Absolutely. The 30-acre property, pond area, and sunset views offer beautiful photo opportunities throughout the day.

    Are there private getting-ready suites?

    Yes. A bridal suite cottage and groom room are available as add-ons, with both day-use and overnight options for added flexibility.

    How many hours are included?

    The venue will be open to you on your booked days between 9am-9pm.

    Additional time after 9pm can be added at $350 per hour if you'd like to extend your celebration into the night!

    Do non-preferred vendors require a fee?

    You’re welcome to bring your own vendors at no additional cost.

    If you require kitchen access (stove, refrigerators, sink, and prep tables), a kitchen-use fee applies for the wedding day.

    Who can we use as vendors?

    We are in the process of vetting a list of trusted preferred vendors for you, but for now you are welcome to bring any vendors you have found!

    Outside vendors must follow venue policies and may need to provide $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance. This helps ensure a smooth and protected event for everyone.

    Please have outside vendors provide proof of insurance at least 15-30 days before the big event. Their insurance certificate should list the following as Additional Insured:

    Are tables and chairs included? What if I need help with those?

    Chiavari chairs and tables are included for your event.

    For added convenience, we offer optional services including setup, breakdown, rearrangement, and ceremony to reception chair moving - so you don't have to worry about logistics. 

    Additional chairs may also be added for $7 each if you'd prefer to avoid moving chairs between spaces.

    Is there a bar area? Is alcohol allowed?

    A dedicated bar/ serving area is included.

    Alcohol service may be added as an optional upgrade. For everyone's safety, a licensed bartender is required.

    To protect the venue and your event, serving alcohol without the upgrade or without a licensed bartender results in a $3,000 penalty.

    Are dj lights available?

    Professional DJ lighting is available as an optional add-on (lighting equipment only), making it easy to enhance the atmosphere for your reception without sourcing equipment separately. It does require a professional operator to work.

    Could the venue host a rehearsal dinner?

    Yes, rehearsal time is available prior to your big day, and you may host a rehearsal dinner at the venue hall. A two-hour window is provided, with a rehearsal dinner venue use fee (catering not included).

    Do you provide cleaning?

    Yes. A basic cleaning fee is required and covers bathrooms, flooring, and glass so you can leave without worrying about the main cleanup.

    For added convenience, an optional cleaning service is available to clear guest tables and place dishes into rental boxes — helping your event wrap up smoothly.

    Is there a damage deposit?

    A refundable $2,000 damage deposit is added onto your total purchase, and typically returned within 7–14 days after your event, provided there’s no damage.

    Could we cancel the booking, change the date, or add services later?

    Things don't always go according to plan, and we'd like to work with you to adjust what is needed. Feel free to reach out to us if you'd like to make a change to your order.

    The booking deposit is non-refundable once the date is reserved, but date changes may be possible depending on venue availability. 

    Add-ons such as optional services could be added onto your order any time before the final payment. 

    Could I pay with a card?

    Yes, definitely. There are options to pay with cash, check, or with the convenience of various cards or PayPal at checkout. Card transactions include a 4% fee, while check and cash payments do not.

    How do we reserve our wedding date?

    To book online, simply select Book Now below and choose your desired add-ons. A 50% deposit is due upon booking to reserve your date.

    If you prefer to place an order by phone or email, feel free to reach out to the contacts below! 

    The remaining balance is due 60 days before your wedding.
